Organizational MembershipMembership Categories, Dues & BenefitsInstead of joining as an individual, student or young professional member, consider a government agency, educational institution or business partner membership for your organization. To streamline multiple individual memberships from one agency or organization, GPN offers a Government Agency, Educational Institution and Business Partner membership, each detailed below. Individual members within each of the organizational membership packages receive all of the benefits of individual membership along with additional benefits for the organization such as free unlimited job postings (normally $300 per post). ![]() Government Agency MembershipWe are pleased to offer a simplified membership for government agencies at any level — national/federal, tribal, state/provincial, regional, county, city, and town. The all-inclusive membership is designed specifically for jurisdictions with at least two GIS staff, whether in the same department or across a number of departments (i.e. assessor’s office, public health, planning). It is an opportunity to streamline an agency’s GPN membership, while taking advantage of cost savings and efficiencies. ![]() Educational Institution MembershipGPN has long valued its relationships with the academic community. In fact, most of the organization's founding members were esteemed faculty within urban planning departments. Outreach to future GIS professionals at community colleges and universities is one of our most important responsibilities. Educational Institution Membership is available to faculty and staff at colleges and universities at a single location and includes individual membership benefits for faculty members and students. ![]() Corporate and Business PartnershipGPN provides an abundance of marketing and promotional benefits for companies interested in connecting with the geospatial professional community. There are several levels of Partnership from Platinum to a Business category for smaller consulting firms or start-ups. If you are an individual member working for a software, service or application provider, and your company is not a corporate partner, please speak with your marketing and business development departments about the options. |
