"With the rate of change and advancements, if you're not sending your technology team to GIS/ValTech, you're getting left behind."
Nick Kenczka
Utah State Tax Commission
"Our City Assessor first attended the GIS/Valuation Technologies conference solely to discover what software solutions were available. Now, we both continue to attend each year because
of the workshops, the knowledgeable presenters, and the partnerships we are building. The most surprising and best outcome is that we can both attend the same workshop or presentation
but walk away with different applications for the same material. We debrief after each session and learn even more from one another by sharing our takeaways with each other. This
is a valuable conference that we prioritize budgeting for both of us to attend each year."
Megan Lukens
Assessment Business Systems Manager, City of Madison (WI) Assessor’s Office
"The GIS/ValTech Conference has been extremely beneficial to my career in mass appraisal. The presentations at this conference are significant and often provide a more sophisticated or
detailed approach to what we do. This is a conference that is aimed at the people in the trenches and expands their minds of how to perform necessary procedures in the office. Maybe
just as important as the sessions are the conversations and relationships that can be developed with other practitioners. Letting staff be exposed to and learning the importance of
geospatial analysis of data, advanced appraisal techniques, and even simple, yet important, mass appraisal procedures can all be achieved in one place. It is sure to bring back a
very good return on investment."

Floats, costumes and photos at the Mobile Carnival Museum illuminate the city’s centuries-old Mardi Gras tradition. The 1850 Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception features intricate German stained glass. International fine and decorative art is displayed at the Mobile Museum of Art.

You can call this coastal town a lot of things when you have a vibrant nearly 325-year history with lots of stories to tell and long-standing traditions celebrated on a regular basis. Once called the Paris of the South, Mobile has long been the cultural center of the Gulf Coast and you'll find an authentic experience like nowhere else in the southern United States.
